Cameron Gregory is an eight-year-old with a big heart. So far, it's led him to raise money to benefit the National MS Society and help others with MS directly.

For his kind deeds at such a tender age, Gregory was recently honored with the 2011 Hayley and Michaela Petit MS Youth Award. In addition to being an active fundraiser, Gregory does yard work and much more for a neighbor with MS.

Gregory was just six when he created a Walk MS team, the MS Super Kids, to honor friend Brandon Roy’s mom, who battles multiple sclerosis.

In two years, Gregory's raised more than $2,700 with help from kidsa at school and an annual California Pizza Kitchen event. Gregory's goal is to raise $2,000 more at this year’s walk. The walk will take place in West Hartford on Sunday, April 22.

Petit is a longtime supporter of the National MS Society, and his daughters, Hayley and Michaela, also supported the chapter, to raise awareness and funds in honor of their mother, who had MS.

The Petit family's Hayley’s Hope and Michaela’s Miracle MS Memorial Fund honors the Petit women and provides funding for family-related MS programs and scholarships.
