The PETIT FAMILY FOUNDATION has funded awards through the Plainville Rotary Club which selects and presents the prizes. The Foundation’s mission to “foster the education of young people, especially women in the sciences…” is a tribute to HAYLEY’s love of science and her ambition to study medicine at Dartmouth College. These awards have been given to high school seniors who are National Honor Society members pursuing a college education in the sciences. Additional awards are in memory of Dennis Chapman and in honor of William & Barbara Petit.
