We are a small yet growing Foundation that has been embraced by the community. We can always use more help with the many events that we have yearly. Our anchor events have been the Annual Petit Family Foundation Golf Tournament which will be held for the 5th time on June 20, 2011 and the 4th GE 5k Petit Family Foundation Road Race co-sponsored by NBC 30 which will occur on July 17, 2011. In addition to this we have had several Food and Wine Events, Luminary Sales and hope to have a Motorcycle event and House/Garden tour as well as a possible concert in the next year. There are many ways to participate in events including: being part of a planning committee, helping with specific tasks (creating and distributing brochures and posters, obtaining auction and raffle items, etc.), working the day of the event and, of course, actually participating in a specific event. You may wish to “spot” volunteer occasionally at the office or be willing to be available for efforts such as stuffing envelopes and distributing materials or you may want to volunteer for a specific event either as noted above. We have many tasks that need to be done, some on a daily basis, some on a monthly basis and others sporadically. You can suggest ideas for other events to the Chairman of our Development Committee, Mr. Michael Chambrello, via email and you can volunteer by filling out the Volunteer Contact Form. We thank you for helping give back to the community and helping “to be the change you wish to see in the world” while honoring the memories of JENNIFER, HAYLEY, and MICHAELA.
